viewers and listeners, audio sermon PODCASTING! His Word declares we should "Give
thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among the nations what He has done"
(Psalm 105:1) We, as a ministry, are thrilled at the chance to spread the Word of God to
as many listening ears by any means possible, and believe this to be a means to do so.
So what exactly is PODCASTING!??? Derived from the name of Apple's portable music player, the iPod, PODCASTING! is the distribution of subscribed media files over the Internet, using syndication feeds for playback on mobile devices or personal computers. For those of you out there who humbly confess to having the computer savvy of your average granite rock, PODCASTING! provides our subscribers with automatic updates of any of our sermons when they are added to our website. These sermons are downloaded to your computers' hard drive, weekly, in audio mp3 format to be listened to on your digital music player at your convenience.
Current iTunes (Apple's digital media player) subscribers can subscribe to all New Hope Full Gospel audio sermons via the direct link on our webpage (the blinking orange icon to the right on the main landing page). While other players such as Google Reader and Firefox RSS Reader can be used to download these files, Apple's iTunes is recommended because of its widespread use, ease of operation, and high compatibility with most files.
